The Face Behind the Lens.
A little bit about me…
I'm more than just a photographic artist:
- I am a mommy to the most wonderful little girl in the whole world (I’m a bit biased, of course).
- I am happily married to my sweet and hardworking hubby of 18+ years.
- I am an artist and writer.
- I need both coffee and yoga to start my day (but not at the same time; that would be hard).
- I have a personal quest to read as many classic novels as possible.
- I can quote any “Friends” episode from any season.
- I have an obsession with journals and journaling.
- I suffer from wanderlust and could use some funding to support my addiction, haha.
And because I am a photographic artist:
- I enjoy capturing and creating “odd” artistic portraits that speak to your soul.
- I tend to look at the world a little differently, and find beauty in things that others might find strange. This would be why my portfolio might be considered an eclectic collection of images.
- I wholeheartedly believe that photographs of ourselves and loved ones are one of the most important material possessions we own and hand down through the generations. And I cannot stress enough how important it is to print your images from your camera and your phone too!
My credentials - I'm more than just another person with a camera:
- I have been in the photography industry for a couple of decades now.
- I put my heart and soul into each image I create.
- I operate a legal WV business (which means I have a license and pay taxes and everything).
- I have also invested thousands of dollars in professional equipment, and countless hours in education mastering the skills needed in order to ever better my art.
